PARAMEDICAL EDUCATION

A science that deals with pre-hospital emergency services is called paramedical science: and a person working in this field is referred to as a paramedic. Paramedical services are those services where professionals help the doctors in specialized areas and facilities for better diagnosis, treatment and therapy. DIIPSE was established with the objective of producing skilled manpower in different areas of paramedical sciences for better healthcare delivery in the country. It is a vast field. Deccan India is affiliated with semi-govt council. There are many courses available at diploma and certificate level to provide a balance of professions and general education and to enables students become professional paramedical technicians.

Diploma  in Medical Lab Technician (DMLT)

Medical lab technician certification is a basic course. It enables the technician to learn about the theoretical and practical applications of procedures and equipment used in a medical laboratory environment. He/she plays an important role in the prevention and diagnosis of various diseases. Medical lab technicians work under the supervision of a physician, lab manager or medical technologist and perform laboratory tests on specimens.
Course Duration: 2 Years

Diploma  in X-Ray Technician
(DXRT)

Students will learn to position patients on X-ray machines for the best image quality, protect patients from radiation exposure and analyze radiographic images for common diseases. Clinical labs and clinical experiences are normally incorporated. Students often do observations at local medical facilities and get supervised hands-on experience helping with radiographic procedures.
Course Duration: 2 Years

Diploma  in Physiotherapist
(D.P.T.)

During D.P.T, one learns the skill to treat patients with physical disabilities and injuries through physical therapy, physical movement, massages, exercises to cure injuries, diseases, and deformities.  One can land a job profile of professor, therapy manager, research assistant, etc post completion of this course.
Course Duration: 2 Years
